On January 20, 2026, the Danyang City Eyewear Chamber of Commerce successfully held its 2025 Fourth Quarter President's Meeting and the Second Meeting of the Sixth Council. The meeting comprehensively reviewed the achievements of industrial development and the Chamber's work in 2025, set high-quality development goals, and jointly outlined a new blueprint for industrial upgrading. Zhao Liqun, Director of the Standing Committee of the Danyang Municipal People's Congress and Head of the Eyewear Industry Chain; Lin Danru, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Danyang Municipal People's Congress and Chairman of the Danyang Municipal Federation of Trade Unions; Jiang Min, Vice Mayor of Danyang Municipal People's Government; and leaders from relevant municipal departments were invited to attend. In 2025, facing the dual challenges of global economic fluctuations and intensified industry competition, Danyang's eyewear industry persevered and achieved remarkable results. The total sales revenue of large-scale eyewear enterprises in the city reached 10.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.33%; total exports reached 5.162 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 4.8%, with the international competitiveness of core products continuing to rise. Significant progress was made in building a talent pool, with the number of large-scale enterprises increasing to 92, 20 enterprises achieving sales revenue exceeding 100 million yuan, and several enterprises ranking among the city's top 50 import and export companies. The industrial structure accelerated its transformation towards high-end, intelligent, and green development, with 800 new trademarks and 50 invention patents added throughout the year. A number of specialized and innovative enterprises, green factories, and intelligent workshops emerged, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
Precise Empowerment and Efficiency Enhancement: Building Platforms to Solve Development Challenges
The conference focused on resource matching and professional empowerment, building a multi-faceted cooperation bridge for member enterprises. At the meeting, relevant enterprises released cooperation intention plans for the "Danyang Glasses" chain stores, exploring new paths for the branding and chain development of the industry; China Merchants Bank tailored a financial service plan specifically for the eyewear industry, accurately solving the financing difficulties of enterprises; experts from Jiangsu Dingdian Law Firm provided in-depth interpretations of intellectual property protection strategies and practical cases, helping enterprises to build a solid barrier for their rights; Wenzhou Dena Cloud Exhibition Co., Ltd. provided a detailed introduction to the 2026 WOF Eyewear Exhibition plan and participation opportunities, guiding enterprises to expand into international markets. In addition, Liu Hongjun, Director of the National Eyewear Product Quality Inspection and Testing Center, provided an authoritative interpretation of the mandatory standards for the eyewear industry to be implemented in 2026, offering clear guidelines for enterprises to achieve compliant production and improve quality and efficiency.

The meeting focused on Party building to guide development. Zhao Jinchang, Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of Danyang Municipal Committee, led the participants in a special study session to thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
